I hear your pain kaper. The biggest asset I've found a non coder like myself can have (apart from gaining coding skills) in the open source community is patience. You have to remember that the majority of developers only do this in their spare time, which is a very large limiting factor for making regular product updates.

That said, Catzwolf visability over the last 6 months on the XOOPS site has been somewhat sparadic. You may want to have a look at XfSection which is a fork of the WfSections module.

Yes, those variables are called superglobals, and are available everywhere, including functions.

Thanx for your reply Mithrandir,

I replaced all the $HTTP_POST_VARS with $_GET, but am i still supposed to be able to search? Because when i don't enter anything it used to show all users, but now it doesn't do anything and loads the page again. As if u would press Refresh. It also happens when i do enter something in the fields. So it doesn't do anything now with the $_GET.
Or do i have to use a link now? And if so what would that look like in my address bar?

I just checked the PHP manual. A "cleaner" method might be to use the PHP function htmlspecialchars:

$name htmlspecialchars($nameENT_QUOTES);
