Is there a way I can make it so it hides a certain section of the message until someone replies to it?

Example: I post a link to download something on the forum and don't want to let anyone see the link until they reply to the message.

Thanks,
Eugene

I was looking around for this after all the hype I've heard surrounding it, but no English, no chance in my books.

One major eye sore is the Proprietary statements it makes for it's useage. Not in the spirit of Xoops, considering the "Original Scope of E-Xoops" is fork of the original Xoops

Boggles my mind and gains two thumbs down. I'll wait for an official release from Xoops.

(Please don't start bashing e-xoops, thats not my intention here, just pointing something out the way I see it. The people at e-xoops are doing a fine job)

Just my 2 cents, yet again.

I'm not sure how you go about getting your module in the admin section, further reading may be required.

The <script>history.go(-1);</script> is a "go back" feature that you can use on your page, instead of having the user click on "back" in the browser menu. This script is usually accompanied with an image, check it's usage to see how it works, I'm sure you'll see how the link works.

There really isn't a 'blank template' that you can work from per-se, but what I would suggest is that you look around for a module that closely resembles what you have in mind. From there you can convert, add or delete features and learn from there.

It's probably the best way to go in terms of learning.
