I am facing the same problem. The weather block works fine on localhost but when I upload it to the server the current conditions don't come up at all. Where would I set the connection port to yahoo?

Hi there,

is there any possibility to show a certain block on every page? because I do not want to set it visible for each page separately... isn't there a link to set is visible everywhere?

sincerely

Hi there.
I'm currently hacking the MyDownloads module to make it a books module... ratings, comments, categories, suggest modification, sort orders, what's popular block, all these are already built in the normal version, I'm just creating some new fields and this kind of small stuff. If you could please take a look at the normal module's features and tell me whatever you need that isn't there, I'd try to put it in my version. Don't expect much, I'm no real coder, but perhaps what you need is just there

The modify button only sends a request for the information in that download to be changed. It wont be changed unless the admin approves within the download admin area.

No one will be able to alter anything unless it is either the admin or approved by the admin.

I searched around before using Xoops.
I found alot of hacking concerns with PHPnuke, even a 'clan' of hackers that get thier jollys on nuke.
I finally rested with XOOPS simply based on security.

Can you put the spotlightRC2 adapted to xfsections in your dowloads sections web. It would be, for all of the xoopsiens interesting, could have acceded to this hack.

ok i've submitted it to xoops.. once approved you should be able to download it from the downloads section on this site..

if you want it sooner here's a direct link to download it >

http://www.clubithard.co.uk/usr_upload/Spotlight.v2.0_RC2_XFSection_version.zip

I'm not sure if Catzwolf is doing further mods to this, but i might modify further so it includes WF section aswell. I just modded it originally as i don't use WFSection myself and wanted it to work with XFSection. but if catz is doing this anyway then i won't do this..

if catz can sort the bbcode and img problem out then it would be easily added..

xcGallery might be able to do this. It has custom fields and image management. Not a true solution, but close.

I am not sure if there is a module that would achieve this already or not. But what I am thinking of is organizations that want to honor certain indivduals for their outstanding contributions, this would be a module for that. It would contain their picture, bio, job position, achievement, etc.

Thanks,
Abdala
