Hello all,

Thanks for anwering my questions so far :)

Here is an ohter.
I just notest it...
I am for some time now running my Greek language XOOPS site.
I was looking around for spell errors etc when I saw this:
I the contact module when I send a message it is enconded in iso-8859-1 although it should be in iso-8859-7(greek)
Here is a sample :

Both the theme and browser are set to iso8859-7.

So why Am I getting messages in iso8859-1 format.
What is causing this problem?

Thank for your prompt reply builderb! That gets me one (vertical) column list view. Like this...

A
B
C
D
E
F
G
H
I
...

Now, is there a way to get two columns? Looks like this...

A | G
B | H
C | I
D | J
E | K
F | L

Thanks you very much!

First and foremost: I can read the instructions. And comprehend. Just wanted to clear that up. Also, I do know what a relative path is.

I have tried to insert a new image at the top of Minical in just about every way possible, as long as that method follows the conventions in the instructions. No dice.

Anyone have suggestions? Is this a bug or is my dyslexia kicking up again?

I'm not a pro coder (yet ) so I'm not sure but here's what I found.

In /kernel/configitem.php, in the getConfValueForOutput() function, there is a CASE statement. In that statement, one of the case is 'textarea'. This is weird because in xoops_config table, there is no conf_valuetype that match 'textarea'. I think that the 'textarea' mentionned in the previous function should be changed for 'text'. That is actually a value of conf_valuetype in the above mentionned table.

I found that because I wanted to pass the xoops_footer in the textsanitizer. When I included that in the 'textarea' case, nothing happened. When I changed the 'textarea' to 'text', it worked like a charm !!!

Now, as I said earlier, I'm not a coder, and I'm messing around with the krenel . So can someone from the core developpement team tell me if I'm right or wrong and if this change will have an impact on something else.

Thanks !

i was bored so i have actually just redone it.

i'll re submit the file, as i've modded it so it now works with both WFSections and XFSections..

but here's the new version with both XFSection & WFSection aswell until it's approved on XOOPS site.

Thanks, it'll be changed as soon as possible.
I'm still having some problems to access to the whole server where my website is.
About your first question, there is no special setup to some yahoo port in the script.
I can just tell you to compare your local configuration (phpinfo) with the one where you're hosted.
I can't tell you more because I'm not a php guru neither a great server administrator, just a simple XOOPS user who wants to help the community.
