I always have to edit the themes I have to match up with the board. I recently had to completely redo all of it though because every time I edited the default theme for IB, profiles would get screwed up and I would be ablet to view them.

Well from what a thread on the coppermine board said, it might be easier to just make a bridge, like they have for vBulletin, IB, and PHPBB. Not sure. I attempted that and decided to give up before I shorted out everything on the East Coast.

Need some continuity between the Invision Boards and Xoops. The Koudanshi mod is what I'm using, but that baby blue theme is just...not going to cut it for the sites I'm building. I need some heavy blues and darks, but easy on the eye stuff. Don't need the extreme gamer type themes.

I'd appreciate suggestions or links. I'm need to finish and put up one site for indexing like yesterday. Maybe some suggestions on a couple themes that are close enough might work.

The XOOPS default site would even work if there was an IPB counterpart.

Hi out there. I hope don't have problems with my poor english
I try the find this info in the wiki, forums, main page, but nothing appear, so, here is the deal, any suggestion will be welcome:

1)I want edit the templates of mydownloads. I want clean up all the info like description, rate file, commentaries, modfile, broken link, etc. All i want is the id file, category, number of commentaries and hits. Nothing more, nothing less. All the rest of info, i need it in the single file template. Is it posible? I try to do it, but i mess up, don't know what things take out

2) The number two. Is it posible to add custom fields or custom info to the downloads? I use this module for demo games, and the main info are things like POV, MAP, EVENT, can i change that?
3)And the last thing (if don't bother u, of course). Is it posible put the comments field at the bottom of the page?,it would be nice to be able to have a quick comments, without needs of a link for that.

Well, any help, u know, will be welcome, is really hard to understand things in other language, and worst is try to make other understand u.

That's all...at the moment...

The session destroy means that XOOPS cannot release the last login session. Headers already sent in may instances mean that a space exists outside the PHP tags.

Do any of you have IPB? may not be related, but just wondering

See this post for a possible fix

Xoops-Redirect - trim truncated

I did a search in the forum but did not see such a topic.
I have a members only page of photo album (myalbum) that was hand-coded to my own block in the homepage with the specific URL;

say it's
..../modules/myalbum/viewcat.php?cid=3&orderby=dateA

when user trys to access this link, if he/she is not logged in, they are supposed to see the user log-in page (user.php) and is ready to redirect to that page after log-in.

Here come the problem:

the URL in the user.php page only trim to the .php, not the parameters, it's -

/user.php?xoops_redirect=%2Fmodules%2Fmyalbum%2Fviewcat.php

so even the user logged in, they are pointed to nowhere.

I checked the code in user.php

Quote:

if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['xoops_redirect'])) {
$xoopsTpl->assign('redirect_page', htmlspecialchars(trim($HTTP_GET_VARS['xoops_redirect']), ENT_QUOTES));

but where is the problem?

Is this a bug or just a nature of this Xoops-redirect?

Thanks in advanced.

King,

My hack doesn't use or modify groupaccess functions for two reasons:

1) most of what I wanted required that I modify sql queries that went across forums (search, index, recent topics, etc.) The SQL that is used may be less efficient than the original, because of some "outer joins".

2) I originally wrote the hack in 2002 for XOOPS 1.3.5 before the current group access "API" was as well thought out as it is now, and before I was as familiar with xoops.

-- None of the changes in this hack affect code outside of the newbb module.

I have the same exact problem, has there been any solutions to it? Nothing seemed to change. Is it possible that php uses persistent sessions and they didn't get cleaned up? If so, where are they stored?

Thanks,
Eugene Zaydens
