Where are you getting that status message Surpllus=-$100.00 etc? Is it the Donat-o-meter block?

I use the dontations module and it's working well. I got no errors on testing IPN and the Donat-o-meter block shows Left to go as a positive amount. If the donations exceed the goal it will change to read Surplus. I didn't like the word surplus as it implies that we have too much money! I changed it to read Over Goal By-

I am not sure why you are having that problem. You could try regenerating your templates.

I posted this question on xoopsforge, but got no reply. I'm hoping to do better here.

I have been trying out Xpress as a blogging module under XOOPS 2.2.4. I prefer to use the interface style XOOPS and have the module set up that way in prefs. My one problem is that the title of individual blogs is too large. It appears to use the H2 text attribute. I'd like to reduce the size of that. I tried uncommenting and changing the size of H2 in templates/wordpress/style.css, but that did not seem to have an effect. (I did clear templates_c and my browser cache and I regenerated templates). I also tried placing the info for H2 in my theme's style.css, but again no luck.

It's time to ask for help. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to modify the text attributes of the blog titles in Xpress?

Well, an even better solution is to use the Treemenu template in Multimenu 1.8. TreemenuXL seems to be a dead product. When I tried it I found problems with certain browsers on Mac and Windows not showing the menus properly. This was even the case for the author's own site.

Treemenus in MM 1.8 work very well. Try it. You'll like it.

This need is made for Multimenu. Multimenu CAN appear as a module on your site, if you so choose. I use it to provide a site map. However, you can make it invisible. For your need what you need to do is create blocks, where the multimenu1 block would serve one group (renamed, of course) and multimenu2 another, and so on. You can even specify whether each group can see the other group's menu. In other words, whole menu blocks, as well as individual menu items, can be made invisible or visible to selected groups. Of course, that only works once users have logged on, so you need to decide what shows up for anonymous users. This could be minimal, with an indication that users need to log on to use the full menu system, etc.

Bottom line, you need to spend a little time figuring out how to use Multimenu. It is a fantastic module.

hi,

I am using XOOPS 2.2 (not XOOPS 2.0) and I deleted Framworks.

Could you help me to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if this is relevant to your problems, but I don't think you are supposed to delete the whole Frameworks folder in 2.2.X. You should include it, but without the files needed for 2.0.13 functionality. That is, the Frameworks folder should be present at the root level of your site and should include only the subfolder "art", and its two files.

You have posted the same question in two threads. Better not to do that. See my reply to your question in the other thread.

Using switch vertical, you cannot have both a link and an action (that is to open the submenus) on the same main menu item. I also use switch vertical and name the main link to describe what is in that set of submenus. Clicking on the main link opens those submenus.

You can see how I've used them at www.aka.org.

One more observation/question.

I now have activated the multiMenu 1.8 module on my live site, aka.org. If it is of any usefulness to use it as one example of a site using MM 1.8, please feel free.

One of the links I provide is to the multiMenu site map. I notice that it isn't available to anon users. Even though the menu item shows and is set to allow anon views, one gets an error page. Possibly that is related to some menu items not being available to anon, but that can't be the whole story.

I think it would be useful to be able to show the site map to anon users, with those items that are restricted not showing up, of course. Can this be done?

[Edit] Oops. My mistake (again). I had somehow lost permissions for anon users to view the multimenu module. All is well now.

Regards,

to correct : [#] = PMs waiting link,

As I might change some menu items, I decided on a simpler solution, which was just to add a note to the bottom of the template for that block. You can see that on aka.org
