not the ones in the download section..

Hi, should I delete all of the MyDownloads and Web Links module files from the directory and then upload the backup? Would that be the best thing to do? Thankyou for your help.

someone mentioned earlier that they where getting 500 errors when trying to view certain pages within the WF-Section main admin menu?

Could you try the following for me please:

You will need to turn off friendly http errors to view the full error.
In internet explorer
Click Tools > Click Internet Options > Click Advanced Tab > Under Browsing uncheck the "Show Friendly HTTP Errors" checkbox.
Then refresh the page. You should then see a more detailed error.

And report anything you may find please.

You need to restore all of your original files. It seems you still have Hack for better search engine positionning files in your directory.

Under general download, you have

Hi, you clicked the Main categorys and the sub-categorys and they all worked fine? Why would it be different for me. I did reupload the index.php and viewcat.php files. It seems to have fixed most of the sub-category links. But the top level (main categorys) still have the links messed up. Whenever I click the link it try to goto:http://portal.vbcodesource.com/portal/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php/14-

I think the proper link is:http://portal.vbcodesource.com/portal/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=14

Is there anything that I can do to fix the problem? I thought uploading a backup of the original mydownloads and weblinks modules would fix it. I even specificly reupped the viewcat.php and index.php files and refreshed. It seemed to help with the sub-categorys, but not the Main Categorys. What can I do? Thankyou for any help.

If re-uploading the file does not help. You may want to read this thread

Any Module developers willing to work on a project for Xoops 1.3.x?

I run www.sermonindex.net and am looking to get a few hacks in the XOOPS modules possibly done and also 2-3 modules made?

1. Text Article engine, which I already have running here:
www.sermonindex.net/text but its not an XOOPS module? maybe a simple port script?

2. Audio Streaming script, I have it up at:
http://sermons.crossmap.com I would like to get the same script as an XOOPS module if possible?

Let me know what you think about these especially the 1st module the articles one. A friend has already ported it over to Post Nuke so maybe you could port that version easier into an XOOPS module? I will be offering it open source. and again I repeat I am running the older version of XOOPS 1.3.x! please email me if interested and with general quotes or more questions: sermonindex@msn.com

Just in case anyone wanted to use the one I made to use, I thought I'd post it. I didn't like the other one, being that it's rather long compared to the others and tends to stand out a bit, so I ripped off Pixar and did this.
