Thanks Herko for your reply. I did just that, but the thing is that people keep seeing the 'post news' button. They can still post it, although it won't publish (admin has to publish). There should be no reference at all to posting news. Is that possible? Thanks.

Is there anybody who can remember how to change that option? Thanks!

Current in the forumform.inc.php line 83.

For the new Version this goes into the templates and can then be changed there.

Re: Another newbb question... gosh stuff keeps coming up.

There is a
xoopsCodeTarea("message");

somewhere? (I'm looking at the CVS of newbb 2.0 so unsure whether this has been like that - but I would guess so, since it is an old function)

Add a 2nd and 3rd paramater to change the size of the text area
xoopsCodeTarea("message"$columns$rows);

Hi everyone.

My latest -i-can't-solve-it-by-myself- problem:

http://pwp.netcabo.pt/gandamaluke/three.gif

As you can see by that pic, the 'message' form verlaps the whole layout <.<, how do i change it's size? i've already fiddled with forumform.inc but i didn't succeed.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Sub Menu Item Disapeared?!

I find that a sub menu item is only shown when the url requested is the 1st level of a module folder. For anything in a sub folder, the sub menu item is gone. It seems XOOPS could only recognize "flat" module folders.

For example, when I put the following in xoops_version.php:
$modversion['hasMain'] = 1;
$modversion['sub'][1]['name'] = "Australia";
$modversion['sub'][1]['url'] = "au";

and put a "au.htm" in folder /modules/country, a copy of "au.htm" in /modules/, the sub menu item "Australia" only apears when "http://localhost/modules/au.htm" is used.

Can anyone tell me how to make sub menu abailable when a sub folder is used? THanks!

As I undestand, this is a beta module, so yet unfinished. I don't know if it is still in active development....
