News & Contact modules not updating... what do I do?

When I make a change to the news or contact templates, then update the modules in the control panel, my changes don't show up, even though the screen says everything did.

Anyone know why this could be happening? I don't have this problem with any other modules. I just checked my templates_c folder and can see that the news and contact html files haven't updated...

you may do something like this to remove tile effect.

<noscript><center><table bgcolor=gray cellspacing=0 border=2 bordercolor=red>

in the above you could set bgcolor=transparent and set border=0

and you could create a new background image like this one ( a rough guesstimate 10x75):

Resized Image

just some ideas for you.

edit: the XOOPS poweredby.gif would be an issue, but you could remove and add text to footer just below your java script.

yes, you can edit the style.css to your liking.

Well, just adding it to the footer as it sat and making sure each theme did the footer call got it working!

Thanks to all!

Ok. Thanks tjnemez.

Also, thanks for the Logo help up top too. I want to say you have done a very good job with Xoops. I like it better then PHPNuke. mainly because you can put your blocks on the exact page you want; but, also, it seems more solid with less hassle. I am also a big fan of OOP programming and it really is a proper programming technique.
The forum is done really well for a first version. I am glad I caught it in time.
