Ok, now i have understood the difference between Templates and Themes. But i have a question, how do you change your default template set? Suppose i have installed the template for ThemeX, but i see that there is a tick mark beside the default template set(indicating perhaps that it is the one selected)

Now, say i choose ThemeX from the Theme Changer, now how is that, that the template set for ThemeX is chosen? Does the default template remains active or do i have to do something to change????

Hello there. It's again: me :)

One question more. Is it possible, that every time, a article is posted in "news" ALL members get an eMail to their eMail-Account mentioned in the log-in with, for example the headline of this article?

TIA,

Ogi

PROBLEM FIXED (for me)

Posts were not being marked as read so went to...

Administration Menu - System Admin - Preferences - General Settings

Changed settings:

1)Use Custom Session - Yes(was no)
2)Session Expiration - 30

3)Then set "Update module templates" to "yes" and clicked "go" at the bottom.

4)Went back and set "Update module templates" back to "no"

** NewBB messages are now again being marked as read for me and other users :)

I did a search on my harddrive for the website name... found several cookies and many many links to parts of the website....
deleted EVERY file with the name of the website on it....
this took awhile becasue some of those links would not detete on first try

the problem STILL remains!

does XOOPS depend only on cookies for contextual info or are there registy settings or other files on my hard drive with less obvios names where XOOPS hids this stuff??

I have the same thing. Started today after 3 months of working properly..
It is the same on 4 different computers/IPs.
The only change I made was to install wf-sections. I can't see that this should cause it. Hoping someone has a fix...

This is a French description on how to hack the user profile. As for core development team support, this is a hack that we don't support, but seems to work fine. In the next major release, we're adding the ability to add and remove user fields from the profile dynamically.
