Frankly, I'm not sure why one would want to clone Content. One of its advantages, from my viewpoint, is that you can have virtually an unlimited set of menu items and submenus, and you can add dozens of individual pages of content.

Why do you want to clone it?

You will have to hide the XOOPS main menu and make a multimenu set that has the equivalent links. Then insert code into your theme.html to generate a horizontal menu that has drop-down submenus. It can be done. See my test site barryc.net. The drop down menus don't take advantage of CSS but they do work (remember they are just test menus).

I had help from blueteen on how to do this. It is a very long thread, but you'll find info in it on this one. If you wade through all those discussions you should find the information. I'd try to be more directly helpful, but I don't use such drop downs on my live site so I would need to refresh my memory too. If you can't find the information, let me know and I'll try to help.

Btw - if it's not a good idea at all to use this module any more, do you have any suggestions as to which one to use instead? I need one that allows me to create a tree menu with different entries and sub entries (categories, levels, whatever), so that I can hide the XOOPS main menu and use my custom menu for navigation.

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

For content you might want to try the module Content, which is a derivative of XT-Conteudo, as I understand it. For creating tree menus, or a bunch of other menu types for that matter, I recommend Multimenu 1.8.x

I'm curious. Why is xcgallery 2.0.2 not available in the module repository here on xoops.org? It seems to be a stable version. It is not at all obvious that it is on dev.xoops.org because the project is not even listed there. Maybe it's because of the XOOPS 2.0.13/2.2.4 issues, but that is not a good reason in my opinion.

I'm seeing the same thing and for more than 15 mins. I first saw it last night. Trying to connect to XOOPS gives an error message "db connection failed". Reloading connects. Then clicking a link repeats the process. Clicking reply to this message caused the same error. I vote for it being a "bad thing". Something seems to be wrong.

As far as I'm aware there has been no active development of the Donations module for many months. However, there is a 1.9 beta version, which is what I use. It works well for me on my site, which is running XOOPS 2.2.4. However, on a previous iteration of my site, I could not get the IPN to work. If you search this site, you'll find threads that indicate that a number of people have that problem and no solution has ever been found. My own experience was that when I rebuilt my site under 2.2.4 (previously on 2.0.13) and tried Donations again, it worked. Magic! Note that I rebuilt the site. It was not an upgrade. I also changed some of the modules I was using. I have no idea why Donations suddenly worked on the new installation, but I suspect the problem has something to do with other things running on a site.

Having said all that, you are not having a problem with IPN. My advice would be to completely uninstall the old version and do a fresh install of Donations 1.9 beta. You can get it at:

http://www.warpigw2.com/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=7&lid=33

Look down the page a little. It probably won't be visible until you scroll down.

To the best of my recollection I did clear all the caches when I tried placing an H2 style in my theme's stylesheet. My stylesheet actually doesn't have an entry for H2, and the entry in the wordpress/templates/wordpress style.css file is commented out. That's why I am confused about where the size attribute is coming from.

I overcame the problem on my test site using a kludge, namely changing all references to H2 to H3 in the Wordpress templates folder (i.e. in the php files). That renders the text in question at a size more to my liking, but I'd feel much better if I could do it the right way, namely having the value for H2 pulled from the appropriate stylesheet. I'll have to try putting entries for H2 into my theme's style sheet again and see if I can get it to work.

Comparing to my own template, I can't see any significant differences, although mine has been altered a little to change the layout of the table. The problem must lie elsewhere, I think. What version of the donations module are you using?
