Re: Newbb text format lines ...

The drop-downs you mention are a part of the XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea's render() method found in XOOPS-root/class/xoopsform/formdhtmltextarea.php

Try using ImageMagick.

<{$xoops_banner}> (from memory, check the default theme.html file to make sure). You can use this code in a block too, thus giving you more freedom of positioning.

Can someone tell me what the banner code is to add the XOOPS banner system to various pages. I want to be able to add the banners to newly created pages for advertisers.

- Thanxs

How do I choose a specific page to be the first page that site visitors see, and not a module?

In other words, how do I set the default page?

If you just want to manage article in your website, and nothing else, I would recommand you to take a look at SPIP which was designed for journalism, at first.

Xoops is a very powerful tool (and I enjoy using it) but it is more community-oriented (in my mind) than SPIP which focus on article management only (with a small forum too).

I think the main question is: how will evolve your needs in the future? And only you can answer to this question.

An exemple of a site using SPIP (a very famous french quality newspaper)

Happy Xoopsing

Got it... when I uploaded the tar and uncompressed it, the files inside had very restrictive permissions. Only owner could Read the files. I chmodded the whole donation dir to 755 and it sees it now.
Of course now when I hit test I get the error from the other thread..

Thanks I appreciate the response, I know PHP and Perl so I can probably close some of the gaps just wanted to make sure it was the right direction to head in before I go investing 40 or 50 hours in that direction.

Again thanks for the response.

Sounds like a good suggestion for a new feature for a later release...

Why not visithttp://wfsections.xoops2.com - and add it as a new suggestion?

WF-Section v2.0.1 already has this feature. Just link to wfsection/backend.php =)
