Since I am really getting into Xoops, is it possible to backdoor into admin so we can eliminate the login block at the annomyous page?

I tried to change here at theme.html and nothing changes on my web page. Neither the html wording or the links.

I'm running XOOPS 2.0.16 and am using the 4metal theme. There is a thin row of links of "join, faq, home, forums,and contact us".
They dont link to the modules I have installed. I tried to edit the html template with no luck. I even tried to wipe out the links in the html templates with no luck.
My question is, and since I don't understand php' where can I edit or change or eliminate those links?

If I did the first part ("carnuke" the starter of the page), which is the only part I understand because I know nothing about scripting/php,etc. It seems like he has it simple by loking for the coding and replacing it with his coding. Does this work?

It is supposed to be a real simple blog. There's no email involved, etc. The problem is I cannot get guest to be able to post at all and I cannot get members to post without my approval. I have permissions set in groups and blocks. I'm confused. I just wanted it to be a plain blog with all permisssions to post and I don't get involved.

I downloaded and installed in my module folder but XOOPS don't find it. Is that not a version for Xoops?

I don't understand "blog" completely. I installed WordPress 2.03 in XOOPS 2.0.16. Is there a way to have multiple subjects? Right now, all I can find a way to do is to have just a single page, and people can post about anything and you scroll to read. Is this what a blog is or am I not setting it up right?
