Thanks!

I'm not quite sure how to do this so I hope you can clarify for me. Suppose the groupid of my new group is 4. Am I correct in saying that I should change

if (!$member_handler->addUserToGroup(XOOPS_GROUP_USERS$newid)) {

to

if (!$member_handler->addUserToGroup(4$newid)) {

AHHHHH! I figured it out. The template was cached by my browser! If I deinstall the module, dump my cache, restart my browser, reinstall the module. The installer still shows the template being compiled and installed but the modules form doesn't show up. Damn mozilla! Template development is going to be a royal pain with Mozilla if this is the case...

I would still like to kow what table th template goes into though.

Thanks

Doug P

Hi,

my site has recently been unavailable due to this error message:

Warning [PHP]: main(/home/xoopsno/public_html/kernel/object.php): failed to open stream: Too many open files in file include/common.php line 85

Any clues?

currently the only way to do this is to use the auto-login hack.

Oh! Thanks for pointing out the "users" reference I competely missed it in the code. Yes, I completely removed the xoopsmembers_searchresults.html file. Will a form still appear without the template? And why does the install program still say the template was compiled and installed?

What db table does the template go in to? I have smarty debugging on and the console shows:

included templates & config files (load time in seconds):
db:system_block_search.html
db:system_block_mainmenu.html
db:system_block_user.html
db:xoopsmembers_searchform.html

But xoopsmembers_searchform.html wasn't there when I reinstalled the module!

Regards

Doug

Adding Images to printed wfsection article

I would like my printed wfsection article to look more like it does when viewed on the site. I want it to have the author name, avatar, article image etc on the page.

Whats the best way to go about this?

Is it just a case of copying a section of the article template to the print template?

Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks

that's good to hear :) i haven't a php 5 enabled server yet but its nice to hear the new 2.0.9 works without errors.

incidentally tho, i don't think the developers will be putting modules at all with the core in the new 2.1 version, there will just be a core download and then a module download pack. there are discussions about it but nothing is decided yet.

but good work on this info for IIS.. as i know full well myself that IIS is more troublesome than apache.. that's micro$oft for ya tho :)
