hi ... first of all i would like to thank you for this beatifull software .. but i got a prob i want to insert in my news table on the news page the date of the news but not the time ...

how can i do that ?? can u help me plz ?? i love u all

A work-around would be to:
Create a user with the custom email address
Create a group
Add the user to the group
Set this group to be recipient of the form submissal

But I assume you have already considered that and found it to be too inconvenient - so if Formulaire does it, I would try it out. As far as I know, it is built on Liaise, so it should not lack Liaise's features.

You might check out the Registration Keys module. It sounds like it might help you out some. I haven't used it, but I was surfing through the module repository and found it.

Thanks for the tip jmorris... yep, and while were on about this site ... there is also a couple of useful graphics editors called picSizer and photofiltre that process graphics files in bulk. I mention this because someone was looking for a bulk image compression ustility a while ago?

Hi. I want to show news on the main page of my site. It will be just news about the company for wich the web-site is developed. I need only one section of news, without the dropdown menu on the top of the page. So, I know how to show news on the front page, but how to get rid of this selector In news preferences "Select yes to display navigation box at the top of each news page" is sitched off.

xcgal upload Problems

xcgallery Upload problems:

Neither I or any of my members can upload pictures.

Starting from scratch I can access already uploaded pictures to the server, by using Batch add Pictures option in the adminstration panel. This was a great option by the way.

After I put the site up immediatlely I've been getting mass amounts of email stating the photo gallery doesn't work, they can create albums but can't upload pictures, it gives an error that says immmpossible to move photo to user pics/album and then after when they try to access the album they created it says the album doesn't exist.

I'd really like to figure it out as the gallery is a nice touch, I know I have already read that the e-card function doesn't work... too bad it's such a great option, I reaaly Really wish that would work too but oh well !! Can't get everything I guess.

XOOPS- Great work on this portal system I and my family love it.

Very bad news.
My module is illegal !
Weather.com only allow the use of their XML feed for 2-day forecast.

Here is their answer:

Unfortunately, we do not allow any third party website to scrape, pull or otherwise recreate any of our content, data or images. All content on the weather.com site is proprietary and copyrighted, so we must ask that you do not pull weather information from weather.com. Any other plugin application or website that you see using more than a 2-day forecast is doing so illegally without a license agreement with TWCi, and we are taking appropriate actions.

The only method by which you may use our data is through one of our free products -- the XML data feed or the Magnet products.

If you are interested to linking to this content or in having a weather magnet for a city on your site, please visit:

Just for a little added info on that site... If you use Hotmail/MSN, and you would like to download all your e-mail like you do your POP3/IMAP e-mail, they offer a great program called Hotmail Popper. I use it and have yet to have a problem with it. It's a great way to archive all your Hotmail/MSN email as well as manage your space.

For example, just configure your e-mail client to use 127.0.0.1 as the POP3 and SMTP server, then specify that you want all your e-mail moved to your local folders. This automaically downloads all your e-mail and deletes it off of Hotmail's servers.
