BTW, I know that you can edit the "Top News" Block, so It'll be the same as the "recent news" Block, But I'd like to know how to duplicate them.
Thanks!(:

I tried to copy it and insert a custom block, containing the recent news file, but it didn't work.

I want to use news module for articles and news (because I don't like AMS), so one block will display the recent news, and one block will display the recent articles.

Thanks,
Ron.(;

Isn't there any script?

Just to take visitors to a blank page will do the work.
I'll write my domain and /index.php, while they will see a blank page and won't know what happen...

Hello everybody!
I'd like to block my own country, in a way that people coming from my country will get a login page and login to their account before they can access the main page.
If that's not possible, I'd like to make myself the only one from my country to access the website, a hard thing itself, since my internet connection is dsl, and it changes every time I login the internet.

Anybody knows how?
Thanks,
Ron(;

Found it...
You just need to add an author.
go to the author section when you add an articles, click search, and then you'll have an option to add an author...

I Recently Installed article module in my XOOPS site.
I've noticed that in the default articles, that come with the module, you can see in the right side of the default articles an author profile.
For example
"

Author profile: carnuke
carnuke is the XOOPS Documentation Team Lead and a member for the Article Module Group.

"
Since I'll be using also free content and also my own content, I'd like to know how can I insert this profile to any of my articles?

Thanks,
Ron.

I had the same problem with a content module. I solved it by writing the whole: <a href="#">link</a>.
In that way it didn't appear.
Now, I checked your problem on my site, and it appeared to me that when you write the address, instead of the whole html link, it appears on blank page.
So next time, instead of writing:
https://xoops.org/
write: <a href="https://xoops.org/">123456</a>

Good day and success,
Ron.(;

Thank you very much! I'm now the proud owner of a cbb forum!(:
The problem was a lack of info about cbb installation, so I thought I should delete the xoops22 folder, because there was one site that said so, and another one that said you should copy language files to somewhere... Now I've deleted it all and the forum works just fine. thank you very much!
