Get your styleNN.css file and simply put this inside it:

this way all browsers (NN) will look at your site the exact same way IE ones do.

You are using the default theme right?
Try this:

1) open theme.html in your favorite html editor;
2) check the coding between lines 88 and 90
<div id="content">
          <{$xoops_contents}>
        </div>
;
3) move that code to line 51.

1) the html thing - have you tried using <div align="center"></div> ?

2)* create a new block;
* go to ctrl panel>system>blocks>your_banner_block>edit and on the 'show ...' make sure you change it to All pages;
* on that new block, you should use the image button
Resized Image

and write the complete url to your banner, like http://your_site/images/your_banner.gif.

That otta work.

You say XOOPS is able to send mail à lá volonté right? So your php script should to...i have done this succesfully.
I would recommend you check with your host provider to see if they are blocking the sendmail function but if XOOPS is working i don't think it will be off.

Have you considered trying another script to see if the error is yours?

If you wish not to do the "hacking" yourself, you can download this clone a XOOPS Brasil member as done.

It is also a tinycontent clone named dolly.

Have you tried accessing it via http://your_site_url/user.php ?

If this opens the login page, logon. If you still don't see the personal menu, (the one that gets you to admin area), go to http://your_site_url/admin.php and then:

*1-System>blocks>login>edit and check if the block is visible on all pages;

*2-System>preferences>groups and check if you enabled the login block for the groups.

I am aware only of frozen bubles, but take a look at this site:

it uses the module tynicontent to implement a coupla of flash games. The result is very good and it is as easy as it gets!

I can let you in on something...a XOOPS Brasil member as made a hack that allows such features, but is transforming it on to a module so that its implementation is simpler.

but it is in portuguese. Nevertheless you'll find every support you require, even if you post in english

Well, php can execute shell commands via '´' but i think XOOPS is sanityzed enough... you sure it was a hack?
Can't anything else have corrupted your database?
