uploading images ? all images modules as extgallery and others has this features, just give upload permission to users .

regarding video upload : it's a problem, what is the extension and the size of the movie? did you try mytube ? I think it allows you to upload flv videos from your desktop

nice website, in mytabs,the middle tab is more longer than others, I think you can reduce a little the nb of news in it to let all tabs in the same heigh approximatly.

can you enable the debug mode from Preferences Main --> General Settings? the go to your module home page, you will get the error, share it with us please in order to know

I think TAD pictures module contains vertical carousel in the block.
anyway, you can add it easly to any block by doing the following :
- create a css folder in your module and move all css files in the carousel foldel into it.
- create js folder in your module folder and copy all js files from the carousel forlder to it.
- copy the images (usaly they are arrows) content from the carousel folder into your image folder inside the module.
- edit any block in your module (from templates/blocks) and copy the carousel effect in it, sure by making many changes, there is a part that must be copied in the header of the block (how to reffer it to the css and js), and there is a "div"part that must be used with the smarties codes.
it isnt an easy job but not impossible at all.
after finishing it, update the module and delete the cach, and then try the block.

Congratulations primedizioni for your new website.
I have many comments :
- in IE8 the logo dosnt appear ,is it in CMYK colors or RGB ? edit it with your photoshop or any photo editor and transform it into RGB , (if you use photoshop go to images-->mode--> rgb)

- why you use twice the search box in the same page ?

- in the left block : can you make all thumbnail the same size??

- you can add a : back to top in your page becaise it's a little long (just write : torna su , and link it to #top)

Sorry if i did lot of remarks, the idea is great, with few modifications you can make it better

if you need to sell these books, ou can use the famous e-commerce XOOPS modules : oledrion or zent cart merged in xoops.

but if you need to display them only I think you have to get the paid module : TDMAds.

TDMAds is more than a module, it's a framwork, by using it you can do the following :
- create unlimited categories and subcategories
- create unlimited extra fields
- set witch extra fields will be available with each category : it means : if you create extra fields to describe books in arabic, you can choose this field to work only with the category called : arabic books,
in another terms you can costumize it as you want.

I am using this module too, unfortunatly it's full of bugs. I dont know if there is any other similar module in xoops. I had an idea to clone TDMDownlaods and make some changes (remove the browse button to upload a program and make changes in the language folder) to transform it into a directory module.
