To change the XOOPS text, just go to the end of line 53 on registerform.php and change it to 'Avatar Available' or something...

i can't test what u said cause i dont have a XOOPS instalation on this comp, but let me get this straight, u got the avatar option by simply commenting out the avatar lines of registerform.php right?

WfDownloads is a file management tool with upload functionality. It is a powerful, easy to use module to administrate your download files.
You can also allow selected user groups to upload files to your server. The administration of all files can be done in an admin area.

It's (in my opinion)much better than the original MyDownloads module.

XOOPS Brasil team as translated this module and it now has the portuguese folder inside the language directory. Mail templates have also been translated, as well as the instalation readme file.

You can download it straight from here, or you can register at XOOPS Brasil and get it from our uploader module.

Cheers mates

Im guessing your block is a center-center block right?

You can go to ctrl panel>system>blocks>YOUR_BLOCK and search for the Weight value (that is 0 by default) and change it to 1.

If you have found vulns in xoops, it would be a good idea to make a POC and post the vulns on some private (you+xoops developers) forum.

This could allow a possible upgrade/fix if the vulns actually exist.

You can install module uploader and use for your users to upload their files, then you scan them and post them on the downloads section.

There is no file to correct the xoops/class bug, you must check your XOOPS in order to see if you have an errous XOOPS version. It's rather simple, you have to change only one line.

Do this to see if your XOOPS version is stable and xoops/class bug-free:

Go to line 342 in file /class/criteria.php
If that line looks like this:

if ( is_numeric($this->value) ) { // || strtoupper($this->operator) == 'IN') ???

Change it to:

if ( is_numeric($this->value) || strtoupper($this->operator) == 'IN') {

Now i'll suggest the following:

Install Xmail, because this module was made exactly to send mails to XOOPS users.

After install, read readme.txt (i can't stress this enough) and you will find all indications there.

IMPORTANT: In the parameters, you can specify how many mails to send at each time, in order not to overload the server, thus not causing it to freeze.
That may be the source of your problem.

You can get Xmail here.

Good Luck

I can think only of using iframe, but that allows you NOT the posting if you are not register...

As if i was browsing YOUR forum thru the other site, i could see it but i had to be loged in at YOUR site in order to actually input some type of content on to the forum.

You could use XT member Einstein's news clone module and use it to restrict the access...

Like you have:

normal news- all/public users
cloned news- your private team news

get is clone module (kindly named dolly ) from his site http://www.einsoft.com.br/

cheers
