Hello,
I am testing mastop_go_2 v 1.04
fromhttps://sourceforge.net/projects/xoops/files/XOOPS%20Module%20Repository/XOOPS2/MastopGo2/

On Spothlight page i get:

Fatal errorCall to undefined method MastopFormSelectImage::XoopsFormSelect() in C:xampphtdocsxops258testmodulesmastop_go2classformimage.php on line 36

The issue:
* When I go to create a spotligh I get a page without the header and not way to add a spotlight.
I disabled the line as indictated in the error above for this page:
line line 36 which is
$this->XoopsFormSelect($caption$name$value);

then everything else works including adding a slide, however, the address for the image is not stored in the

the datbase "go2_30_imagem" field, i checked the database it is empty after I create a spotlight.

and also get "Notice: Array to string conversion in file
/modules/mastop_go2/class/mastop_geral.class.php line 480"

Any fix is welcome.

replacing the file does not work as stated above by redheadedrod.

"class/database/mysqldatabase.php

From your base directory. (Found in the htdocs in the svn) ".

Does anyone else uses Formulize module here at Xoops. It's just fantastic for creating you own solutions. Similar to, but better than TDMCreate, sorry to say so but it is.

I am testing with XOOPS 2.5.6 with the latest from the GIT and am getting a blank page when I click the "install Module" button. I have not tested with 2.5.7 or 2.6, what the exact url for these anyway.

I remember trying to test 2.6 and abandoned after seeing so much requirements of the webserver. Which web server meets the 2.6 requirements right off-the-shelf for 2.6. I am using xamp.

Having this module is key for XOOPS users to be able to donate $ to xoops.org. I dont think xoops is being built to run only community or advocate type of sites. Business users need a way to collect $ to be able to survive. So yes RW-Banner is a good banner, greater if it can be ported to xoops 2.6 version. While I see other cms have some great ad mods, it's long due for XOOPS.

How can I display news images in news blocks, specifically top news block. I did apply evucan's patch for version 1.66 and it worked perfect. However that news mod version is outdated. I applied the same patch to News 1.68 RC 1 released for XOOPS 2.5.5 and no image displayed, any help if welcome.

Thanks.

Hello zyspec,

here is what I do:

1. I uplaod the image to the xoops image manager then copy the image url which looks as follows: href="http://localhost/site/uploads/images/img5197ae1f7cadc.jpg

2. I edit/create category, then I paste the image url I copied above and paste it in the image url which is bellow title field/textbox, then I save.

3. I visit the module home page and not image shows. I then return and edit that same category I edit in step 2 just to find out that the url is as mentioned in above post like: <a href="http://localhost/site/uploads/images/img5197ae1f7cadc.jpg" title="http://localhost/site/uploads/images/img5197ae1f7cadc.jpg" rel="external">http://localhost/site/up ... ages/img5197ae1f7cadc.jpg</a>

Let me know if this is much clear and if any fix is possible. It would be ideal if an image uploader feature can be added for attaching images to categories.

May I also suggest for a better way to edit links instead of having use link id, a drop down list of links which when one is clicked opens in edit mode or a similar solutions like tdmdownloads module list all entries with an edit button to the side of each entry.

Thank you.

No, sorry. That is just for removing the MI_TDMPICTURE_ADMENUIMPORT to just show the correct text.

Hi chefry,

You to define in your modinfo.php files located in the language directory for the language your are using like /TDMPicture/language/english/

add the following:
define("MI_TDMPICTURE_ADMENUIMPORT","Import");

I am not sure if the has a leading underscore lik _MI_ just ensure. Rememder to clean the cached files.

chefry,

You can do a google search for open source learning management systems and you will find atleast two others in addition to moodle. Obviosly for more high level requirements some of these products/developers sell the best features.
But as redheadedrod is suggesting it would be good to have a xoops modules or integration with these scripts. It all depends on what your requirements are.
