I could reproduce both bugs using google chrome.
If I clear browser cache and go directly to modules admin, it works good. If I browse another admin page and get back to modules admin, then I cannot drag modules. Seems browser is caching something. I'll do more tests tomorrow. Thank you very much :)

I can logout but when I try to login after that, I have the message : "you are now logged out"

So, you can't login! I've noticed that on xuups.com, sometimes I need to login twice.

maybe the problem went with the file secure.php no longer present in downloading the new version?

No, not related.

Can you give me the source code of modulesadmin page?
Maybe you could get me an admin account on your test site just to see if it is browser related.

Thanks.

It is not an upgrade, it's a a fresh install of Xoops 2.5.3.

I did not meant upgrade, I just said 'if you used 2.5.2' before because there could be browser cache problems if you did.

I use Maxthon browser. But I have the same problem with Internet Eplorer.

You have also reported that you could not logout using Maxthon browser. The problem can be related. Your browser may not be working correctly. What version is it and what is your OS?

I'm interested in the source of the modules admin page. The one that does not work correctly.

Thank you.

@Cesag, If you installed 2.5.2 previously, can you try clean your browser cache?

What browser are you using? Is there any error reported by the browser?

Can you paste the <HEAD> contents of the html page here?

Thank you.

What is the problem?
-The module logo cannot be dragged
-The module logo wont stick in its new position
-The module logo sticks in new position but if I refresh the page it is back to old position
-The module logo sticks in new position and stays in position after page refresh, but does not affect position in mainmenu block,

Thanks for the tip Mamba.

I tried all of that but it did not work until I realised that with this version of Xoops you need to install the Profile module (https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=101&lid=1949). Having downloaded and installed that, I now have a CAPTHA in y registration page.

Thanks a lot

Ted

NO NO, Official profile version is 1.61 and is delivered with the core package. Do not use other versions please.

Yes, but remember, the core profile module uses captcha plugins that are in core and it is tested by core developers in each release. You can also recaptcha or other captchas provided by core or Framework. This captchas will also work in other modules, like contact modules. The profile module delivered by wishcraft uses its own version of captcha and make use of functions that will be deprecated on future versions of XOOPS. I strongly advise you to stay away from profile modules release by third parties.

Supported profile version is the one delivered with the core, and it works just fine.

No way that updating to profile 1.70 would solve the above problems, specially the one related with image manager(not at all profile related).

You probably missed some step on the upgrade process. Maybe you forgot to run the upgrade or to update your modules. What else have you done before installing profile 1.70?

By the way, Core profile version is 1.61. I recommend you to use it instead of 1,62/1.70

OK, so I was using WF-Channel, version 2.0RC with Xoops 2.4.4. All were fine. I then upgraded to Xoops 2.5.3, and on the whole, all was fine, except that whenerv I tried to view a user profile, I got an error relating to missing wfc tables.

The missing wfc table/fields error was present on 2.4.4 or just on 2.5.3?
I'll assume you had this error on 2.4.4. because Xoops upgrade does not delete tables.

You say your version was 2.0.RC, however 2.06 upgrade file seems to ignore version 2.00, it only updates table if VERSION<200 or 200<VERSION>205.

You could try to edit the xoops_version.php and set version to 1.99. Then update the module. Then edit xoops_version.php and set the version back to 2.04. Then update the module. Then edit xoops_version.php and set version to 2.06. Then update the module.

This way all table updates would/should be applied.

Did you forgot to copy the contents of hdocs that are in the upgrade package?
You need to copy both htdocs(content) and upgrade folder in your 2.4.5 directory.
