I want to keep a couple of galleries from appearing on the front page in the static block. How do I make this happen?

Thanks,
Andy

I downloaded a theme and tried to make some adjustment to it. I read the theme pointer from this forum and basically all i need to do is to edit the theme.html file and the css file. I created 2 pic, one for the logo.gif and one for the right hand concer (in a bigger size WxH). I changed the theme.html file (the image size), upload the file with the newly created images. I can get the images to show, however, it was screwed and back to the original size. I am sure I've changed the size and the ALT in the theme.html. but for some reason it's not showing in the browser, is there anywhere i need to change?

when i view the source, nothing had been changed, but when i downloaded the file from the server, the image size had been changed.

<img name="logo" src="http://www.source-edu.com/test/themes/imago06/images/logo.gif" width="222" height="79" border="0" alt="IMAGO:THEMES"></a></td>
<
td><div align="right"><img name="head_r1_c5" src="http://www.source-edu.com/test/themes/imago06/images/head_left.gif" width="364" height="79" border="0" alt=""></div></td>

this is the source, but it should be 350x100. when i open the theme.html file, i changed it to

<td class="head_logo"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><img name="logo" src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>images/logo.gif" width="350" height="100" border="0" alt="&#21152;&#25343;&#22823;&#28023;&#22806;&#31227;&#27665;&#26381;&#21153;&#20013;&#24515;"></a></td>

but it's not showing, can anyone help me?

thanks

Excellent! I can definitely wait for that. How or where can I check for this new development?

...I interupt this thread for a moment of gratitude:

Mithrandir, thank you for all you do for this community. You and so many others in this community really make it possible for most of us to achieve goals and realize dreams. I know it sounds mushy but that is how I feel about your contributions.

Thank you to all developers, friends of xoops, posters and creators of this excellent tool and community.

BTW I'd like to invite all those lovely people who use XOOPS to donate something, if they can, for every site they develop. I got my company doing this and it makes me feel proud that I can help contribute something even if it isn't knowledge or know-how.

...Now back to our scheduled programming...

Can & how do I change the order of the modules displayed on the left side of the page when in Admin.php?

I have a site where I am allowing some people to administer some of the modules and so I have changed the .png logos to reflect what they do on this site.

(sorry for the double post)

Re: Custom Survey Module...Xsurvey status

I'll be having an early version of a non-related survey module out tomorrow or Saturday.

As it is now, I can create a questionnaire, add questions just like in Liaise and the replies are saved in the database.

There is still some way to go before it can do everything I want it to do, but I'll get there.

Anyway - thanx for all the help with getting site moved, now I just got to correct all those really dumb newbie "absolute" errors!

Thanx again

Dave

Thanx for your help, I seem to ALMOST have my site up on the new host, however, I now have this odd little error:

whenever I login as admin, and then try to access the admin menu, I get this message:

This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed.

I click submit, and it keeps returning to that page?

I click cancel and it does nothing ???

What have I done now??

Thanx for the help earlier people!
