When you make a visit to the entry page of the end-user community, you will be greeted with a copy of the XOOPS documents files that reiterate the initial goals of XOOPS and documents the backbone of what XOOPS is all about. If you should plow deeper into the site you will find the more recent blogs by Stephen Walli. and a forward looking report by Our own Taiwen Jiang, A XOOPS Story: On Development of Free Software and Open Source Community in China. So moving right along from the opening page we travel to thehttp://www.xoops.net.br where we find a working model of the newest XOOPS release from Brazil. The stage is set for unfettered access to examine the look and feel of this new XOOPS Brasil version. Continuing on to the subdirectoryhttp://www.xoops.net.br , we find The XOOPS WikiMod is installed with this 2.0.16 XOOPS version, again with the idea of easy access to help others visible see the structure of the no frills core. Finally, we get to the community play house...http://www.xoops.net.br , this is where we do 'our' thing. We have our own Wiki Community, a place where we can show a picture of the kids, the biggest fish we caught or just browse our neighbors websites. After looking at many, actually a whole lot of XOOPS websites, I can see the future is looking bright.
