General Settings

Basic settings for your site to work well. You will make choices.

global permissions

Permission settings which cover the whole of your site (rather than one module)

global searches

Allows a user to search all of your site

go

What ever you have ticked or changed needs to be saved. Clicking go will do the saving for you.

groups

You can organise users into groups. There are three default groups - administrators, anonymous users and registered users. You can create more if it suits you.

gzip

is short for GNU zip, a GNU free software file compression program. It was created by Jean-loup Gailly and Mark Adler. Version 0.1 was first publicly released on October 31, 1992. Version 1.0 followed in February 1993.
