When a module is active, yourself and allowed users can make use of it. It appears in your site at wherever you have made it appear through the blocks. It will also appear on your user menu for the group of users with the right permissions to see it.

The section of xoops where you control all aspects of your xoops site. You manage your groups and permissions, install and activate modules, determine block settings and manage templates.

anonymous users
Users who look at your site without logging in. It is important to not allow anonymous users to certain parts of your site. You will be dealing with a lot of spam if you for example let them make comments freely.

This is the area where you set the group permissions, including anonymous. Select Modify and check the boxes you wish to allow permissions for this group.
Avatar /Avatars
An image a user can use as a 'logo' or identifier in their signature.these are drawn from a list of available avatars you have uploaded to your site.

Images uploaded by the user to use as avatars. To do this you will need to give users a set permission to upload images. Inform you users of the size requirements.
