These projects are supported by a number of tools available for each that enables them to track bugs, patches, feature requests, forums and mailinglists to discuss development, a file release system to distrubute the latest development versions, and full CVS development facilities using the worldwide available SourceForge.net CVS servers.
The developer community discusses development methods, feature implementations and new, fresh and innovative ideas, thus helping each other learn the XOOPS development and speeding up the development process as a whole. The XOOPS Dev Forge also sets high standards on module development and presentation, for everyone to follow. This will bring a broad scale of XOOPS modules to a higher level of XOOPS Core integration and usability.
